Congratulations to the boy's varsity golf team. They won the Augusta-Aiken Middle School League championship. Our Panthers beat seven other schools over the two-day championship held at Forest Hills GC and Woodside CC. The Panthers had to fight it out with the Saints of St. Mary's on the Hill. After the first day of the championship, the Panthers held a two-stroke lead over the Saints. The second day was exciting with the Panthers and Saints playing mano a mano. The final score was EDS 311 and St. Mary's Augusta 316.
In addition, EDS had four of our five golfers finish in the top 6 lowest scores and earn individual trophies. Kudos to B. Phillips (2), W. Leibach (3), J. Doumar (5), and R. Gunnels (6)
