Latisha Perkins

Cross Country, Basketball, Track

Coach Perkins is a native Georgian.  She is from Atlanta where she attended Carver High School.  In high school, she lettered in cross country, basketball, softball, and track.  She is a small business owner. She has been coaching for many years and this will be her second at EDS.  Besides being a big Alabama fan, she loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, OCR “Obstacle Course Races”, traveling to explore different cultures and running 5k’s.  

Biography:

Coach Del Guercio is a native Georgian from Norcross.  He attended Norcross High School. While there he lettered in cross country, basketball, and track.   He went on to attend Augusta University and ran cross country and track for the Jags. He has won numerous awards, including Gwinnett All-County Cross Country, Peach Belt Conference All-Conference, and Runner of the Year in PBC 2015. Coach Del Guercio has loved sports his entire life. The coaches that he has had the privilege of competing under have been some of the most influential people in his life and he hope to spread that positive influence with the young kids he is is fortunate enough to come into contact with during his time at EDS.
 

Biography:

Stahman, Rick

Football, Track - 5 years coaching at EDS

Coach Stahman is from the great state of Texas and the town of Waller.  Coach attended Greenbrier High School is Evans GA. There he lettered in Football and Wrestling.  He was a two-time 2AAAA region champion in football and a 5th place state finish in wrestling.  He was the defensive team captain and MVP.  Coach played college football at LaGrange College.  He has coached wrestling, football, and track. Coach Stahman is a USA Football Head’s Up certified coach.

Biography:

Coach Weaver teaches Music and Leadership at EDS. Originally from Kidron, Ohio, he ran varsity cross country while in middle and high school. He also played intramural soccer while attending Baldwin Wallace University. He has continued to run 5Ks, a half marathon, and is currently training for his first marathon. Coach Weaver is a National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) Level 2 National Certified Interscholastic Coach and will be coaching cross country.
