Biography:
Coach Nobles started coaching at EDS in the spring of 2024. A native of Augusta, she boasts a strong athletic background, having attended and graduated from Lakeside High School. During her time there, she achieved remarkable success in soccer, earning the title of three-time all-region selection and being named thrice to the Augusta Chronicle All-Area Soccer team. Her contributions were pivotal in guiding Lakeside High School soccer to an impressive 49-21-2 record over four years, leading the team in goals scored for three consecutive years during her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. Additionally, she was honored as a Member of the Augusta Sports Council All-Area Team and served as a four-year member of the Augusta Arsenal soccer club, clinching the Georgia State Cup in her junior year.
Continuing her soccer journey, Coach Nobles pursued collegiate play, initially at Coastal Carolina for two years before transferring to Georgia Southern for her final two years. Her tenure at Georgia Southern culminated in her recognition on the 2023 All-Tournament Team, marking a significant milestone in her soccer career.
Beyond her athletic endeavors, Coach Nobles is dedicated to furthering her education. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Kinesiology and sports coaching, complementing her bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a minor in Nutrition.
In addition to her coaching duties at EDS, Coach Nobles also contributes her expertise to the Arsenal Soccer Club, where she plays a role in coaching the U12 team.
Biography:
Coach Melbourne has been coaching at EDS since 2018. She was raised in Augusta and attended EDS through 5th grade before moving to San Diego, California. Kirby played competitive tennis throughout high school and went on to play Division II college tennis for Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. After graduating, she was the assistant tennis coach at Franklin Pierce University and taught elementary school in Keene, NH. Most recently, she spent the last year in Florida, where she worked as a tennis pro for a group offering clinics and lessons for all ages on public tennis courts in the area.
