This week, the EDS Panthers volleyball team competed in the Augusta-Aiken Middle School League end-of-season tournament to crown the league champion.

On Monday, the Panthers entered as the No. 3 seed and faced off against the No. 2 seed, the Saints of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School. In a thrilling three-set battle, EDS came out on top, defeating their Hill rivals to advance to the championship match.

Tuesday night brought another intense showdown as the Panthers took on the Cavaliers of Augusta Prep. The championship was an epic five-set duel, with every game decided by just two or three points. In the end, the Cavaliers edged out the Panthers 16–14 in the deciding set.

We couldn’t be prouder of this team’s heart, grit, and determination throughout the season. Congratulations to our players, coaches, and fans for an incredible year of Panther volleyball!
