The Panthers slayed the competition and left only scraps for the vultures! 🐾

EDS Golf entered the Jungle at the Augusta-Aiken Middle School League Championship, hosted at Woodside Country Club’s Jones Course, ready for the hunt. With nine schools in the field, the Panthers stayed locked in and fearless.

Led by 7th graders Bridges and Bates, 6th grader Ridley, and 5th graders Jack and Hudson, the team—coached by Coach Weiss, Coach Fortune, and Coach Murphy—showed incredible poise and preparation.

After the front nine, EDS held a 4-stroke lead over St. Mary’s with a score of 155, highlighted by Jack’s 9-hole tournament low of 34! The Saints made a late charge on the back nine, but the Panthers held strong to win by a single stroke — 324 to 325!
