Congratulations to the EDS Baseball team.  This group of coaches and young men won our 1st ever AAMSL baseball title.  The Panthers defeated the Stallions from Horse Creek Academy 4-2.  This was back-to-back appearances in the championship.  

The Panthers baseball team, led under new head coaches David Rivers and Dave Dunaway, had a plan to get back to the title game, including heads-up playing from 8th graders Sam D., Connor S., Parker H., Andrew B., and Charles H. The Panthers displayed the grit and determination needed to bring another title to Panther Nation in a season where they went toe-to-toe with tough competitors. Entering the tournament, the Panthers were the top seed, but in the semifinals, we had to face a team that already beat us twice this season – the Augusta Christian Lions. This cat fight was all Panthers as we devoured the Lions. We faced a battle-tested team in the championship versus the Stallions from Horse Creek Academy. With a stellar pitching performance by 8th grader Connor S. on the mound, solid hitting, cat-like speed, and quickness on the bases, the Panthers brought home our first AAMSL Baseball CHAMPIONSHIP!
